Destination Wedding Photographer – Sneak Peek of Margaret and Jorge’s Wedding in Cartagena

Wow, I’ve had the most incredible time in the beautiful city of Cartagena.  I have just come back to my hotel from the wedding of Jorge and Margaret to pack my bags and wanted to share a few sneak peeks with you.  Cartagena is a destination wedding photographer’s dream, with the walled Old Town being a UNESCO World Heritage listed site.  We were lucky enough to spend some time in the Old Town while taking photos.  We were even luckier to be invited up to the roof of the Cartagena Cathedral to take in the Caribbean sunset on the eve of their wedding.  Both Margaret and Jorge have dedicated their lives to helping the under-privileged kids of Cartagena and it was wonderful for them to be given this unique opportunity.  The Cathedral roof and tower are usually closed to the public.

I have had a wonderful week getting to know the both of you and your family and friends.  I even did some traveling and trekking with Marg and Jorge up north and I can’t wait to show off some images from our experience.

Thankyou to Jorge and Margaret for their wonderful hospitality for the week I have stayed here.  Now it’s off to New York City for a few days before heading home to my young family.
